Most customers complete assembly in one day with one helper — no contractor or special skills required. All parts arrive pre-cut, pre-drilled, and numbered. Every greenhouse ships with a full step-by-step illustrated manual.

• Polycarbonate models (Toughest Greenhouse): 4–8 hours for one person, or a half-day with two
• Aurora Glass models: 1–2 days — slightly more care handling the glass panels

Tools needed: a drill, a rubber mallet, and a stepladder.

A foundation is not required for most setups, but a level surface is. You have three options:

• Gravel bed (most popular) — 4–6 inches of compacted gravel. Excellent drainage, easy to install, no permit needed in most areas.
• Paving slabs or pavers — Clean, permanent look. Works well for Aurora Glass models.
• Concrete slab — Maximum stability for larger structures or high-wind locations.

All frames include anchor bolt holes for securing to a hard surface. In high-snow or coastal locations, anchoring is strongly recommended.

Yes — the Toughest Greenhouse is designed for extension. Add 6ft sections any time, no welding required. Bolt-on sections match the original frame exactly.

Aurora Glass models can be extended with matching end sections available separately. Email shop@zengreenhouses.com with your current size and we'll confirm options.

Our structures are built to European engineering standards — above most US greenhouse brands:

• Toughest Greenhouse: Rated for 65 mph winds and 3+ feet of snow load. Built for Zone 4b–6 winters.
• Aurora Glass models: Rated for 60 mph winds. 4mm tempered safety glass won't shatter — crumbles safely if impacted.

In harsh climates we recommend brushing snow off the roof after heavy falls as a precaution.

All models include roof vents and opening doors for passive airflow. Open the vents in the morning and close them in the evening — sufficient for most US climates.

In very hot climates (Zone 8–9a), we recommend adding the ZenGrow Solar Fan and 30–50% shade cloth on south-facing panels during peak summer. Both are in the Accessories collection.

Current pre-orders are scheduled for August–September 2026 delivery to the continental US. Once shipped you'll receive a tracking number, carrier contact, and a delivery appointment call giving you 2–3 days advance notice.

Someone must be present to sign. Greenhouses ship as freight on pallets — delivered to your driveway or garage entrance. Shipping is always free to any continental US address.

Inspect your delivery before signing and note any visible damage on the freight receipt. Email shop@zengreenhouses.com with photos within 48 hours of delivery.

We ship replacement parts at no charge. Individual panels, frame sections, and hardware are all available separately — you won't wait for a full replacement structure.

All structures include a 12-year frame warranty and 5-year panel warranty as standard.

• Frame warranty covers structural defects, corrosion, and manufacturing faults
• Panel warranty covers UV degradation, delamination, and manufacturing defects
• Not covered: impact damage, weather events beyond rated specs, or improper assembly
